1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as your preferred settings or which pages you have visited, so that the site can provide you with a better, more personalised experience the next time you return.
At GameFlow, we use browser localStorage, a similar client-side storage mechanism, to store preference data locally on your device. If you accept cookies, we also use Google Analytics and the advertising platforms we run campaigns on (such as Google Ads and Reddit Ads), which set their own cookies to measure how the site is used and how our advertising performs (see Analytics and Advertising Cookies below).
2. Cookies We Use
We categorise our cookies into three groups: Essential, Functional, and Analytics and Advertising. The table below describes each cookie, its purpose, and how long it persists.
Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for the website to function correctly. They cannot be disabled.

Analytics and Advertising Cookies
These cookies are set by Google Analytics and the advertising platforms we use, and are only set when you accept cookies. They help us understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive (for example from a search engine or a link), and the type of device and approximate location used, and they help us measure how well our advertising works.

When we run advertising campaigns, the platforms we advertise on may also set cookies, such as _gcl_au (Google Ads) or _rdt_uuid (Reddit Ads), to measure visits and sign-ups that come from our ads.
Google Analytics and Google Ads are provided by Google LLC, and Reddit Ads by Reddit, Inc. Both may process this data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. 3. How We Use Cookie Data
The data stored by functional cookies is used solely to improve your experience on GameFlow and to help our team understand which features and pricing tiers are most relevant to developers who request early access.
When you submit an Early Access request, the behavioural data collected by functional cookies (such as last section visited, pricing page interest, and pages explored) is attached to your request and sent to the GameFlow team. This helps us prioritise outreach and tailor the onboarding experience for your use case. This data is never sold or shared with third parties.
Data collected by analytics and advertising cookies is sent to Google and, when we run campaigns, to the advertising platforms we use. We use it to produce aggregated statistics about site traffic and usage, to measure how our advertising performs, and to show GameFlow ads to people who have previously visited our site (remarketing).
4. Your Choices
You can change your cookie preference at any time below. Withdrawing consent stops analytics and advertising tags from collecting further data and deletes their cookies from your browser. It also stops new functional data from being stored, but functional data already in your browser will remain until you clear your browser storage.

5. Third-Party Cookies
The only third-party cookies on GameFlow come from Google Analytics and, when we run campaigns, the advertising platforms we use, such as Google Ads and Reddit Ads. They are described above and are set only if you accept cookies. We do not embed social media widgets. All other data collection described in this policy is first-party and stored locally in your browser.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legislation, or our services. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via the cookie consent banner on your next visit.
